Message Threads (BSPT) and most gauges with their connectors are threaded with National Standard threads. The threads are close in size; and it almost seems like they are interchangable... but they are NOT. Bottomline is that you can put a nice stress crack in your plenium if you force a NPT plug into the slightly smaller BSPT hole. gordo
